Trustee vacancies

Region chief commissioner

The role of chief commissioner is the most senior volunteer role in the region. The appointment is made by the chief guide and she is seeking expressions of interest in this role. Find out more about the role and application process here.

There is also currently a vacancy on our trustee group for a member of Girlguiding under the age of 30.

Trustees have independent control over, and legal responsibility for, a charity’s management and administration. This is a voluntary role, which should be undertaken because you are committed to furthering the purposes of Girlguiding North East England and have the skills, experience and personal qualities needed for the strategic management of the region.

For further information:  See the “how the region is managed” page for an overview of Girlguiding North East England and its structure.
