DofE – Introduction to the D of E Course

This course will give you lots of information about how to run the D of E award in your unit, local area or county. It will include how the programme runs, how to support the young people working on it, how to use eDofE and how to introduce the expedition section. Specific course information issued by the D of E can be found by clicking here – Introduction to the DofE Flyer. You will also get ideas of how to access support. The focus will be on the D of E in Girlguiding. It will be useful both to those new to running the award or those who have taken on a new role or have only been involved for a year or two.
The cost includes a copy of the latest edition of the D of E Handbook, costing £6.50. If you already have your own current copy please deduct that from your course fee but you must have a copy of the Handbook to use at the course.
Before you attend you will need to complete the online introduction to D of E found here. Please bring a copy of your completion certificate with you to the course.

You can pay by card, bank transfer or cheque, just select the option at check out. Go to the North East England website and view the calendar for January 2018.
No bookings will be taken after Friday 12 January 2018.
