Outdoor First Aid Course – November

|How much?||£80 includes 2 nights indoor accommodation, food and training.|
This 16 hour course will give you a qualification which is recognised by most national governing bodies. Both days will commence at 9am prompt. The weekend will finish at approximately 5.30pm on Sunday.
Participants will be expected to take a full and active part in the course, including acting as casualties for each other. You will be expected to be capable of kneeling, performing CPR on manikins and lifting and rolling simulated casualties. Suitable clothing would be a tracksuit and trainers or other loose clothing and flat shoes. A significant amount of time will be spent outdoors regardless of the weather, so please bring suitable warm and waterproof clothing.
As you are working towards an outdoor qualification, bursaries are available from Girlguiding North East England. The application form can be found here.
