International Community Experience (ICE) is for Guides aged 11-13. The purpose of an ICE weekend is to give girls a taste of community action, increase their global awareness and prepare them for international experiences.

ICE weekends present a chance for the girls to learn what community action involves, and to explore different communities by talking to local people and getting involved with community links such as RNIB, the Forestry Commission on the Isle of Man, Guide Dogs and other similar organisations.

Those girls who are interested in further community action have the opportunity to work on a Community Project (aka Final Project weekend). Recent projects have taken girls to the Republic of Ireland, Edinburgh, Jersey or the Isle of Man.
