|What?||This weekend will cover most of the DofE expedition training needed for Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.|

The weekend will include training on navigation skills, route planning, map reading, food and cooking. You will also have time to socialise and make new friends. Walks will be tailored to Bronze, Silver and Gold levels as required and there may be an opportunity to plan further expeditions. You will need to bring a packed lunch for Saturday and make your own way to and from the venue.
This is the first stage of the three expedition events for those hoping to complete the expedition section. Practice expeditions for Bronze, Silver and Gold will take place on 20-23 July 2018 and Assessment expeditions for Bronze, Silver and Gold will take place on 28 August-1 September 2018 (please click the links for more detailed information and precise dates for each level).
This event is open to members of The Senior Section and DofE Award participants. DofE participants should be registered for the award before attending this event. Leaders running DofE units may also apply to shadow groups and gain experience in running the expedition section of the DofE Award.
