Based at the Carlton Adventure Centre on the edge of the North York Moors, we’ll spend the weekend working on the skills you need to explore the World around you. You’ll take part in activities and make new friends to share your adventures with too.
During the weekend we’ll also be able to tell you about the International Community Experience (ICE) which gives Guides aged between 11 and 13 an opportunity to learn about community action, help to increase their global awareness and prepare them for international experiences – but until then you can find out more here. Please note that no offers for ICE places will be made at the event and a separate event will take place for ICE 2020 in Summer 2019 – please look out for more details in the due course on the region event calendar.
There is a limited amount of indoor accommodation available at the venue or you can choose to camp. If camping, you will need to bring your own tent and personal equipment. Units, districts and divisions may have tents you can borrow. Both ticket types will be fully catered.
Whether you want to come on your own or as part of a group we’ll make sure that you have a great time and leave with lots of ideas to plan your next international adventure.
