Who can apply? Young Members age 12 to 16 now.

To meet the criteria of the trips, at the time of travel, you will need to be aged 14 by the 19th of July 2026 and under 18 by the 31st of August 2026

The North East England international team are pleased to announce that we will be running several international trips in the Summer of 2026. The destinations and length of the trips are currently in planning but we are already looking at the selection process for young members to be participants.

How to enter the ballot?

Places in our selection process will be limited so we will be using a ballot system to decide who gets a place at our Selection Weekend Camp at Bradley Wood Activity Centre in Brighouse from 20-22 September 2024.   Please note, although entry to the ballot is free of charge, there will be a cost payable (£60) for those successful in getting a place at the Selection Weekend.  

Register by ‘booking’ below before 17 May 2024 to be entered into the ballot and please only book one place per young member.  

The Selection Weekend involves team-building activities and we will be camping.  We will be spending a lot of time outdoors.

Please note: The region International Team will randomly select girls from each Girlguiding county to attend the Selection Weekend Camp. By entering the ballot you are not guaranteed a place at the Selection Weekend or on one of the trips. We will not be using a raffle system.
