Girlguiding North East England is running a topic training. To attend the training you should be aged 14-25 and must have already attended a basic skills training.
This training is designed for current Peer Educators and is aimed at introducing you to the ‘Safe the World’ topic.
Safe the World is about the situations young people face every day. It tackles the topic of safety by looking at how
- Everyone experiences safety differently
- To spot and deal with unsafe behaviours
- To empower everyone to become upstanders and campaign for a safer world for all.
The training is £7.50. Please bring a packed lunch.
Unfortunately we cannot pay travel expenses for this event. However, you may be able to claim back through your unit or county, so ask around!

Our Peer Ed trainings are initially for members from the Girlguiding North East England region. We may consider opening to out of region participants depending on bookings – if you are interested in being considered for this please email info@girlguidingnortheast.org.uk and we will put you on an expressions of interest list.
