What? An information session, led by our region Peer Education Adviser on the Girlguiding Peer Education scheme.
When? Wednesday 3 September 2025 – 7.00 pm
Where? Virtually on Zoom
Who for? Open to adult members who want to find out more about Peer Education.
Cost? £0 but please let us know if you book a place and find yourself unable to attend.

- What do you know about Peer Education in Girlguiding? Do you want to know more about what it is and how it can benefit your unit? or
- Do you know a young member (aged 14-25) who you think would make a great Peer Educator and want to learn what the process is for training in order to pass the information on and encourage her to give it a try?
If either of the above apply to you then this is the session to attend.
As young people, peer educators use their own experience to bring important subjects to life. It works because girls are eager to listen to their peers who share similar life experiences. Peer educators run fun, safe and challenging sessions for Brownies, Guides and Rangers which Girlguiding has developed with expert partners.

Ticket sales will close at 11.30 pm on 28 August 2025. We will also be running this session on Thursday 19 June and Sunday 13 July – more details and bookings for these sessions via the region website.

By booking this ticket you are agreeing to the Girlguiding North East England booking terms and conditions as follows.
Cancellation by Participant – If you cannot attend this session please let us know so we can fill your place. Please call the region office on 01904 676076 or email info@girlguidingnortheast.org.uk as soon as you can.
Cancellation by Girlguiding North East England – Girlguiding North East England reserves the right to modify or cancel the event if unforeseen circumstances arise.
