Tell me more …
Are you a Girlguiding Young Member and think you (or someone you know) would make a great Peer Educator but want to learn more about what it involves and what the process is for training before committing further?
If the answer is ‘Yes’ or ‘Maybe’ then this is the session to attend.
Peer educators are 14-to-25-year-olds who help Brownies, Guides and Rangers explore important topics, like self-esteem, safety and gender stereotypes. It’s a girl-led programme that works because girls want to listen to their peers, who understand their concerns and priorities first hand. Peer educators are trained to run fun, safe and challenging sessions in units. Girlguiding has developed the sessions with expert partners.
