International leadership

I was selected to be one of four leaders on the NEE Interrailing 2025 trip, and over the two weeks we were exploring Europe, I made memories that will stay with me forever!

Over 12 days we visited Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy by train, tasting the culinary delights of each country (or in my case, sometimes a questionable gluten free meal), immersing ourselves in the culture and activities, such as chocolate truffle making in Belgium, visiting castles in Germany, exploring the Alps in Switzerland and pasta making in Italy. However my favourite activity we did was ziplining in the Alps, both the scenery and the bravery of the girls were unmatched!

My favourite country we visited was Switzerland, as we stayed in Squirrel House at Our Chalet – there’s always something wonderful about visiting a World Centre and seeing how large the movement is! Not only that but Our Chalet’s location is visually stunning and it creates a sense of inner peace in you.

Whilst we were on the trip we met Guides from Mongolia, Chile, Portugal and the USA to name a few!

On the trip we experienced so many amazing things, but I left knowing that I will be friends with my fellow trip leaders for life. I am so lucky to have had such brilliant women on the team.

I can’t recommend going to an international selection enough – you never know where it might take you!
