• Meeting Point: Meet Grinton Cross; GR SE 038 955 ( Postcode is too broad an area to be of use  but you might finds the following useful – what 3 words: yards.meaty.traders).Nearest toilets Reeth.

• Approximate length of walk/difficulty level: L2: 14km, 340m ascent, 5 hours.
• Details: From the roadside parking area at GR SE 038 955 we head north along the minor road for 1km. Where the road bends right we take the track heading west towards the earthworks above Grovebeck Gill, as far as the ford and the disused tip. From here we take the path heading north to Low Harker Hill. On reaching the path junction at GR SE028 974 we head west to High Harker Hill and continue to follow the path west, then south and finally SE  to reach Morley’s Folly, GR SD993 955. At this junction we turn left and pass over Apedale Head before descending to Dent House. From here we head NE back to the start.
