Who for? Open to all volunteers.
How much? There is no charge for this training

This training will give an overview of autism and provide information about supporting autistic girls and volunteers. This training has been developed within the region, so is specifically tailored towards Girlguiding volunteers and experiences that they may encounter.
Topics covered will include
- An introduction to Autism
- An overview of the challenges someone with autism may face
- Guidance on supporting autistic young people and volunteers within Girlguiding
How to apply:
We aren’t charging for this event, but we do still need you to book a ticket as places are limited.
Bookings will close on the 1st of July at 11:30pm.
We are anticipating a high demand for this session, so please do not book unless you are certain you will be able to attend. If you book and an emergency arises meaning you cannot attend please email the region office so that we can offer your place to someone else. Please also let us know if you try to book but find there are no tickets left, so we can add you to a waiting list in case of cancellations. We reserve the right to charge for bookings cancelled at short notice, without good reason, or where participants don’t attend on the day.

Cancellation by Participant – Cancellation must be made via email or in writing to the Girlguiding North East England office.
