Are you …

• Someone who has thought about doing a Girlguiding Walking Scheme Level 2 qualification in the past but has not done anything about it?
• A DofE Gold Award holder who wants to know where you could go next in the outdoors in terms of walking?
• A Commissioner (all levels) who would like a better understanding of the scheme as you are expected to be told when units are out and about. You need to check they following the correct rules and have the correct qualification for their proposed route?

If you fall into one of the groups above, David, our region Walking Adviser, has organised a taster day for you.  This will be a stepping stone into walking so that participants and commissioners have a better understanding of what to expect if they are going to attend a training weekend – it does not replace the full Walking Training Weekend.  Part of the day will be inside and part outside walking.

Payments can be made via Paypal, card or BACS. If you wish to pay by card make sure you click on the ‘Debit or Credit Card’ link just below the ‘Paypal’ one.  If you wish to pay by BACS click on the dropdown arrow next to ‘Pay by paypal’ and it will give you the BACS option.  BACS payments must be received within 48 working hours of booking or we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

Booking Terms and Conditions

By booking this ticket you are agreeing to the Girlguiding North East England booking terms and conditions as follows.

The full cost of the event is given in the event information and is to be paid at the time of booking. This ticket is non-refundable.

Cancellation by Participant – Cancellation must be made via email or in writing to the Girlguiding North East England office. No refund will be made for cancelled bookings.

Cancellation by Girlguiding North East England – Girlguiding North East England reserves the right to modify or cancel the event if unforeseen circumstances arise. In the event of cancellation being made by Girlguiding North East England a full refund of the event fee paid to Girlguiding North East England will be made to participants.
