Name of Walk: Allendale circular via Sinderhope and Stobb Cross

Date and Time:  Meet Sunday 21 April 2024 in Allendale Town Square 9.45 for a 10am start

There should be plenty of parking around the town centre

Approximate length of walk/difficulty level; 13.5km 362m L2

Walk Details:

The walk follows the Isaac Tea Trail along the East Allen valley to Sinderthope across the river and then up to Stobb Cross (401m) on Allendale Common.  The return route is across the moor back to Allendale.

Be prepared for mud, but hopefully we will have a bit of dry weather before then!  There are also quite a number of stiles – simple, ladder and stone step stiles.  As compensation, the views are stunning!
