Region Walking Group – November Walk

Walk Information Sheet: Saturday 11^th November 2023

• Name of Walk: Chevin Circular .
• Date and Time: Saturday 11^th November: meet 9.45 for 10.00am start

• Meeting Point: Meeting at: Netherfield Road car park, Guiseley. (SE 186 425, LS20 9PY, amazed.scorpions.played), this is a free carpark.  Explorer 297 Lower  Wharfedale and Washburn Valley .Nearest toilets are Guiseley Morrisons, can only park there for 3 hours though.

• Approximate length of walk/difficulty level: 16km ,500m ascent, Level 2

• Details: From the car park we will be going out via Surprise View and into Danefield, A traverse east to Caley Deer Park then follows with a return along the lower northern slopes of the Chevin, possibly as far as West Chevin farm. The final leg back to the car park will be to the east of Kelcliffe.
