When?  Sunday 19 May 2024 – Match starts 1.00 pm

Who for?  All sections who are interested in a unit visit to watch a world class cricket match

Cost?  Free of charge

We have been kindly allocated a number of tickets by Yorkshire Cricket Club for units to bring their girls to watch this Women’s Cricket International!

Heather Knight’s England Women’s Team will return to Headingley for the first time since 2018, with a star-studded line-up that is sure to put on a show for the crowd and Babar Azam’s highly talented Pakistan side will be looking to get their revenge from the 2021 IT20 at Headingley, when Jos Buttler’s England claimed the victory on a day when Liam Livingstone cleared the Howard Stand with a huge six!

The match starts at 1.00 pm and an IT20 match usually lasts approximately 3 hours but this does vary depending on the game!

How to apply?

If you are interested in attending this event please complete the form below to register your interest.  Unfortunately we can only accept unit applications and any individuals applying will not be allocated tickets.

Please note:

• by registering an interest you are not guaranteed to be allocated all or any of the available tickets.  If the event is oversubscribed tickets will be issued by a ballot and you will be advised shortly after the registration period to notify you if you were successful or not
• adults must not exceed Girlguiding ratio for the number of girls
• all attending will need to arrange their own travel to and from the event at their own cost
• unit leaders will need to prepare their own consent forms and arrange emergency contacts for this event; the region are only responsible for the distribution of available tickets
• your confirmation of registration will show you have booked one ticket – this is correct – numbers of tickets you would ideally like are collected when completing the booking details

Cancellation by Participant – Cancellation must be made via email or in writing to the Girlguiding North East England office.
