Join us at our region Young Leader Day for

• an opportunity to learn more about the YLDP
• get started on modules like Keeping it Kind and Planning your Activities
• a chance to connect with your fellow young leaders from across the Girlguiding North East England region

Throughout the day you will

• take part in a mix of sessions, including teamwork and creative activities
• take part in discussions about running your own activities within a unit meeting
• discover the wide range of opportunities available to you as a young leader!

If you cannot make this date or venue, we are also offering a session in York on 14 February – more details can be found here on the region website.

How to apply:

Bookings will close on 4 January 2026 at 11.30 pm.

Payments can be made via Paypal, card or BACS. If you wish to pay by card make sure you click on the ‘Debit or Credit Card’ link just below the ‘Paypal’ one.  If you wish to pay by BACS click on the dropdown arrow next to ‘Pay by paypal’ and it will give you the BACS option.  BACS payments must be received within 48 working hours of booking or we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

Booking Terms and Conditions

By booking this ticket you are agreeing to the Girlguiding North East England booking terms and conditions as follows.

The full cost of the event is given in the event information and is to be paid at the time of booking. This ticket is non-refundable.

Cancellation by Participant – Cancellation must be made via email or in writing to the Girlguiding North East England office. No refund will be made for cancelled bookings.

Cancellation by Girlguiding North East England – Girlguiding North East England reserves the right to modify or cancel the event if unforeseen circumstances arise. In the event of cancellation being made by Girlguiding North East England a full refund of the event fee paid to Girlguiding North East England will be made to participants.
